    Dave was employed by Global Marine Group to manage several discreet engineering projects between January 2019 and November 2022. I was his line manager for all projects

    These included:

    • Build, commissioning, testing and delivery of a Pre-Lay Subsea plough
    • Build and installation of a power cable installation deckspread onto a chartered vessel
    • Modifications to a power cable installation deckspread into a telecom’s cable installation deckspread, including ploughing capability.
    • Conversion of a chartered vessel from power/telecoms cable installation to a long-term, deep-water telecoms cable installation vessel

    Dave acted as project manager for the above listed discreet projects. He was responsible for the overall management of the project in accordance with company procedures, compliance with company policies, set up of the team, co-ordinating technical procurement plans, project plans, Scopes of Work, and cost reporting.

    I found Dave to be extremely professional and diligent in all his work. He takes ownership of his actions, delivers to schedule whenever possible, takes on challenges with enthusiasm,  drives the team to deliver, treats company money as it is his own.

    Dave’s performance was continually excellent, demonstrated by the fact that he was used on a number on projects over a period of 3 years. We would not hesitate to contact Dave should another engineering management project be required to be delivered.
